Launching the Korea-Germany Startup Exchange

Half a year ago, we welcomed Professor Changwan Ryoo and Sang Gil Chang from Hanyang University, along with Eunseo Yi from 123factory, to TU Berlin and the xG-Incubator. In just 90 minutes, we mapped out a plan: a fully funded, cross-cultural student startup internship exchange.

Last week, the first three students from Hanyang started their internships at TVINN, Blindleister, and Aidvance. They are not just here to observe: they are contributing, helping startups push forward while absorbing German startup culture.

It took six months to make it happen but this shows what’s possible when you recognize an opportunity and act, bringing the idea to life.

International collaborations lead to new perspectives, shared resources, and a stronger foundation for innovation. That's why we are proud to announce that on July 10, the xG-Incubator and Hanyang University signed a memorandum of understanding to grow this program even further. The best part? There are no costs for startups or students.

Now, we want TU Berlin students to have the same opportunities in Korea. We’re actively looking for partners and funding to make that happen—if you can help or have some ideas, get in touch.
