A Milestone for MOXZ

From xG-Incubator Phase 2 to real-world deployment

Being the first startup to join the xG-Incubator, MOXZ is also the first to successfully complete our Phase 2 program. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to work with the team and for the many shared adventures along the way. From Berlin to Barcelona, from interviews and keynote speeches to workshops, pitches, and everything in between, the past two years have been nothing short of eventful.

We would like to congratulate the founders Dr. Philipp Walk, Dr. Dennis Wieruch, Dr. Peter Jung, and Kai Heuermann, as well as the entire team – not only for the successes they have achieved, but also for the valuable lessons they have learned throughout their journey.

So, where do we leave MOXZ today?

The team has doubled in size and now consists of 18 members. They are taking a major step forward through a seven-month feasibility study with BVG that examines whether its patented wireless ISAC (integrated sensing and communication) technology can be deployed in real-world subway operations. The project involves experimental, prototype-based work conducted in close collaboration with BVG, with the aim of exploring the technology’s full potential under operational conditions. At its core, the initiative focuses on innovation research and development in public transport

For MOXZ, this collaboration represents a significant opportunity to validate its technology in a highly demanding environment and to position itself as a key innovator in the future of wireless solutions for urban mobility.

So it’s goodbye to MOXZ for now… but not farewell.

We look forward to seeing you again soon and to collaborating in new and different ways in the future!
