What we do
CipherCell is developing an open-source security platform for Open Radio Access Networks (O-RAN) that safeguards the entire lifecycle of modern mobile networks. By bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and practical application, we unify preventive and operational security into a robust end-to-end framework. This empowers network operators and integrators to identify supply chain and cloud container attacks early, proactively mitigate vulnerabilities, and streamline regulatory compliance.
Mission
Our mission is to strengthen the long-term foundations of digital communication. We see cybersecurity not as an obstacle, but as a strategic enabler that makes innovation in O-RAN 5G and 6G networks trustworthy. In doing so, we contribute to technological independence and help secure Germany’s and Europe’s digital sovereignty in critical infrastructure.
