What we do
fiber-like is a spinout-company from Fraunhofer HHI, where we turn a combined 30 years of international leading research in the field of optical wireless communications (OWC) into products for your applications!
Right now, we are building on the success of our B-Link 1.0 (Backhaul-Link) with our next generation, laser-based communication terminals. We aim to deliver 10 Gbps up to 1 km distance – ideal for current and future front- and backhaul-applications.
We guarantee an uptime of 99.99% - even during adverse weather conditions.
Our links are easy to align and, thanks to our proprietary receiver technology, require no expensive pointing, acquisition or tracking technology. It has no moving parts which decreases the unit price and increases the lifetime of the device.
